Anime-Style Fanfic Generator

This anime fanfic generator writes PG-13 prose stories with the rhythms anime fans know: a club about to be shut down, a rival who is secretly kind, a quiet student who wakes up in another world. It is the same fanfic generator as the home page, preset to a school setting and an anime-style tone, with genre guides below.

PG-13 is the default. T (Teen, 13+) allows mild language, non-graphic fights and heavier angst. Neither has sexual or NSFW content, and romance stays at hand-holding and hugs.

Anime-style genres to start from

You do not need a specific series to write an anime-style story. Genres carry their own expectations, and the generator knows how to play to them.

School life
Clubs, festivals, exams, the rooftop at lunch. Small stakes that feel huge. Works well with a cozy or funny tone.
Isekai
A character is moved to another world and must learn its rules. Pick the Isekai universe, then say what the new world gets wrong or what skill the character brings with them.
Rivals
Two characters who push each other to be better. Give each one a reason to win and a moment where they have to work together. The "rivals to friends" trope is in the menu.
Found family
Misfits who end up looking after each other. A shared home, a team or a ship crew gives them somewhere to belong.
Tournament arc
A contest with rounds: a cooking battle, a chess tournament, a robot race. Each round reveals something about a character.

What the anime-style tone changes

Picking the anime-style tone asks the generator for short, punchy lines, more inner monologue, and clear dramatic beats: the pause before a reveal, a sudden quiet, a line said with full confidence. It also leans into comic timing and over-the-top reactions. If you want something calmer, choose cozy or bittersweet instead; the genre ideas still work.

Stories are prose only. The generator does not draw panels, but it can write a scene so it reads like one: short paragraphs, one strong image at a time.

School settings stay friendship-first

Many anime stories are set at school, and many of their characters are teenagers. When a setup involves students or anyone under 18, the anime fanfic generator writes friendship, rivalry, adventure and everyday life, and no romance at all. That rule is fixed and is part of the content policy. Adult characters, such as teachers or a café owner, can have a light, sweet romance at most.

Example results

An example written for this page with original characters, to show the anime-style tone. Your stories will differ.

Setup: School life. The astronomy club has two members, Haru and Sen, and will close unless they find a third by Friday. Rivals to friends, anime-style tone, happy ending.

"Three members," the notice said. "Or the club closes."

Haru read it twice. Sen read it once and tore it down.

"We could recruit," Haru offered.

"We could," Sen agreed, already halfway out the door, "if anyone in this school had ever looked up."

On Thursday night, the whole sports field went dark for a power cut. Five hundred students stood outside, phones useless, and for the first time all year, every one of them looked up.

Sen was already on the roof with the telescope. "Well?" she shouted down. "Are you joining or not?"

Tips for anime fan fiction

  • Give every main character a signature: a catchphrase, a habit, an object they carry. It helps the voice survive the whole story.
  • Name the stakes in a single sentence. "The club closes on Friday" is clearer than a paragraph about school politics.
  • Describe characters in your own words rather than naming a series. You get a story that fits your idea and nothing copied from anyone else's work.
  • For an isekai, decide one rule of the new world early, such as "magic runs on music", and let the plot test it.

Anime fanfic generator FAQ

Can the anime fanfic generator use characters from a specific series?

You can describe characters in your own words, but this site does not name or promote any series. The presets and examples here use genre ideas and original characters only.

What anime-style setups work best?

Familiar genre setups give the clearest results: a school club, a rival who sits two seats away, a hero who wakes up in another world, or a group of misfits who become a family. Add one specific detail to make it yours.

What does isekai mean?

Isekai means a story where a character is moved to another world, often by accident, and has to learn its rules. It works well for fish-out-of-water humour and quests.

Can I get a romance between school-age characters?

No. If characters are under 18, or the setup is a school setting with students, stories are limited to friendship, rivalry, adventure and everyday life, with no romance at all.

Can the story read like a light novel or a manga scene?

Yes, as prose. Pick the anime-style tone for short punchy lines, inner monologue and dramatic beats. The generator writes text only, not panels or images.
