Use this fanfiction generator when you know the shape of the story you want: a 100-word drabble, a complete one-shot, or one chapter of something longer. It runs on the same fanfic generator as the home page; this page explains each story form and how to set it up so the result feels finished.
Your fic will appear on this page.
Name your faves, pick a vibe and a trope, then hit Generate (or leave it all blank and hit Surprise me). It takes about half a minute, and you can read while it writes.

Lifetime: continue a story one chapter at a time. Each new chapter uses 1 generation. Series are saved in this browser only, so export anything you want to keep.
The characters and options in the form above become the character card for every chapter.
These stay on this device only. Clearing your browser data removes them. See all saved stories.
Fan writers have names for different lengths and shapes of story. Choosing one before you start tells the generator how much ground to cover.
Most one-shots that feel flat are missing a turn: a point where something changes. Before you generate, try to answer three questions in your setup:
A setup that answers those three questions in three sentences will usually give a stronger story than a long paragraph of background.
The fanfiction generator writes one piece at a time, so a multi-chapter story is a series of requests. For each new chapter, start the setup with a short recap: who is involved, what happened last time in two or three sentences, and the last line or moment. Then say where this chapter should go. Keep the character notes the same from chapter to chapter so voices stay steady.
Keep each chapter's recap and the story itself somewhere you control. You can copy a story or download it as TXT or Markdown, and the generator keeps your recent stories in this browser. Tools that track a whole series for you are not offered yet.
A drabble written for this page with an original character, to show the form. Your stories will differ.
Setup: Drabble. Old Teodor repairs the town clock every spring and has never once been late. Bittersweet ending.
Teodor climbed the tower the way he had for forty springs: slowly, counting steps, oil can in his coat. The clock had stopped at four minutes past six. He cleaned the gears, set the hands, and listened for the first tick.
Below, the square filled with people checking their watches against his. He had never told anyone that he set his own watch by the clock, and the clock by the bakery's first bread. This year, the bakery was closed.
He waited for the smell of bread anyway. Then he guessed.
Read the story once for names and small facts, cut anything that repeats, and change a few lines into your own words. If you post to a fan archive, check its rules about AI-assisted writing and say how the piece was made where the rules ask. Credit the original creators, keep it non-commercial, and never pass off someone else's published text as your own. Everything the generator writes follows the content policy, so it stays PG-13 by default (or T if you pick it), with no NSFW.
It writes one-shots, drabbles and single chapters. You choose the length, the point of view, the tone and the kind of ending, and it writes one complete piece from your setup.
A drabble is very short, traditionally about 100 words, and captures a single moment. A one-shot is a complete story in one piece, often a few hundred to a few thousand words, with a beginning, a turn and an ending.
Yes, one chapter at a time. Generate chapter one, then start the next request with a short recap of what happened and where the chapter should go, so the new chapter picks up from there.
Yes, if you summarise it. Give a recap of your draft and the last moment in a few sentences, and ask for the next scene. Long pasted drafts are not supported yet, so keep the recap short.
Yes, you can share what you generate. Many archives ask writers to say when AI helped, so check the rules of the place you post, edit the draft into your own voice, and credit the original creators.
